At MGS Stoneworks we can assist you from your initial concept right through to final completion.
Our extensive range of samples are not limited to any brand. We offer any brand of quartz or natural stone. Our Italian heritage allows us to source rare materials and blocks of stone directly from Italy.
We can discuss your design and advise you on worktop layout, drainer grooves direction, splashback sizes, upstands heights, window cill with risers and island sizes with overhangs. We want to optimise the full use of your allocated material.
Our CNC machines mean you are only limited to your imagination. Our drainer grooves angle into the sink, efficiently draining away water from your plate rack. We also offer a full side slope drainer for more practicality and a fully recessed drainer sunken around the whole bowl and taps.
We also offer a large range of edge profiles which are created using our in house edge profile machine. The most common and standard is square cut edge with a slight round top and bottom, a classic finish suitable on traditional and modern worktops. Our down stand mitred edge details have an almost seamless joint making your 20mm thick worktop appear at your desired thickness. For a more ornate traditional look we offer edge profiles such as ogee and dupont.
Pricing your worktop is simple, you can simply send us your kitchen plan via email with your chosen worktop material and we can begin the estimating process. For a more personal experience you can visit our showroom and manufacturing in SE6 Bellingham to meet one of our team and look through our sample range. You can have a tour of the factory and we discuss your individual needs over a cup of coffee.
At templating we create a physical template to recreate the final finished worktop. That way you have an idea of how the final worktop will look including door and island overhangs, sink cut outs and drainer siding. After this is signed off we can begin the manufacturing using our fully equipped factory and confirm your installation date which is normally 7-10 days. Installation only takes a few hours after which the worktop is complete and yours. The sink will be mounted including silicone sealed and the upstands siliconed and caulked. You simply need to wait for the silicone to harden and its ready to use. Our aftercare team are happy to assist you with cleaning tips and tricks along with care guides suited to your chosen brand of worktop.
